Alternate Dwellings Kit Homes:?
Has anybody ever built a home through Alternate Dwellings Homes? If so i am wondering what is included if you get the home built to finish…. ie. does it include absolutely everything like any other home would, such as all kitchen appliances, water pipes connected and electricity????
Any info you can give me would be very help full.

how can you make it a small home with everything on a budget.
how can you make it independent from the rest of your home.
as for budgets i would like it to be based on australian labour and materials

Which is cheaper to build? Kit home or from own design?
Were looking to get our first home, and wondering which option is cheaper. Getting a kit home or building something from scratch? My father in-law is a builder so we don’t need to pay for labour but after looking at kit homes there is still a lot of stuff that needs to be added to them before it’s finished, though they seem very cheap. I’m happy to shop around and buy second hand if we don’t go with a kit home.
